Born and raised in the south, Amy is inspired by the work of folk artists, sidewalk chalk, and the winding roads she learned to drive on. Her work is playful and forgiving, illustrating unguarded, tender moments of everyday life. She creates art as an ongoing practice of authenticity and as an open invitation for the viewer to take rest inside.

She creates art because it makes for easy conversation – with the environment, with others, with herself. She hopes to never take it too seriously.
